Who We Are

Watch a video about Lockheed Martin UK's breadth of programmes and capabilities. In 2013 we went further than ever before to expand our UK operations. Our next-generation technologies range from information security, air traffic management and training solutions to marine navigation systems and armoured vehicle capability sustainment.

Lockheed Martin UK, headquartered in London, is the UK-based arm of Lockheed Martin Corporation. Lockheed Martin UK specialises in the development, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services.

The company works with more than 100 business partners and employs more than 3,000 people in the UK across 20 sites, working on a wide range of major programmes spanning the aerospace, defence and civil sectors.

The UK is Lockheed Martin’s largest international market. Headquartered in Central London, Lockheed Martin UK had $1.3 billion in direct sales last year. The company and its UK supply chain sustain employment for more than 10,000 individuals dedicated to the security and well-being of the United Kingdom.

As the company looks to grow its UK business over the next five years, it sees new opportunities to partner with the UK government to meet the country’s global defence and security needs.

The company’s billion-dollar contract to deliver the Warrior Capability Sustainment Programme, upgrading the British Army’s fleet of Warrior armoured fighting vehicles, underlines how strategic investments in technology are providing affordable
solutions to complex problems.

An international Security Intelligence Centre - opened in Farnborough, UK in December 2011 - operates seamlessly with two similar facilities in the US. This strengthens Lockheed Martin’s cyber security capabilities to protect its own and customers’ data from the threat of increasingly sophisticated cyber adversaries.
