LOCKHEED MARTIN ANNOUNCES THIRD QUARTER 2006 RESULTS

Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE: LMT) today reported third quarter 2006 net earnings of $629 million ($1.46 per diluted share), compared to $427 million ($0.96 per diluted share) in 2005. Net sales were $9.6 billion, a 4% increase over third quarter 2005 sales of $9.2 billion. Cash from operations for the third quarter of 2006 was $652 million.
 

LOCKHEED MARTIN UK AWARDED CONTRACT FOR SONAR UPGRADES FOR UK ROYAL NAVY BALLISTIC SUBMARINES

Lockheed Martin UK has been awarded a seven-year contract to provide combat system upgrades to the sonar systems aboard four Royal Navy Vanguard Class ballistic missile submarines. More than 70 percent of the work will be performed in the United Kingdom.
