BETHESDA, Md., June 2, 2005 – During its Paris Air Show
press briefings, Lockheed Martin will highlight the
importance of international partnerships in winning and
executing global programs for global defense and civil
government markets. Briefings will take place at the
Lockheed Martin press center adjacent to the company’s
business chalet at location A-399 unless otherwise
designated below. Following is the schedule of briefings.
Monday, June 13
- 10:00 a.m. – “Trade and the Defense Industrial
Base.”

Lockheed Martin's perspective on major global economic
and political trends that relate to international
defense industrial partnerships.
- 11:00 a.m. – “Aeronautics: Meeting Global
Challenges in a Transforming Industry.”

The head of LM Aeronautics will review transformations
in the industry and newly emerged customer requirements,
describing the relevancy and strength of the company’s
fighter and air mobility programs in this global defense
environment. He also will address UAVs and challenges
facing the military aeronautics industry.
- 12:00 p.m. -- “The Shift is On: F-35 Joint Strike
Fighter Takes Shape, Moves Toward Production.”

Awesome Performance Outpacing Legacy Aircraft.”

capabilities and unsurpassed performance of the

Missile Defense Solutions: Program Updates on the PAC-3

will take place at the Finmeccanica stand in Hall 2A.)

- 10:00 a.m. – “Media Tour of the C-130J – Tour the
Aircraft Changing the Face of Global Tactical Airlift.”
-- C-130J USAF Crew, Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi
(This tour will take place on the C-130J aircraft in the
U.S. Corral) The C-130J Super Hercules, during combat
operations in Southwest Asia, has shown that its
superior range, payload and speed are transforming
transportation planning in the region. Each C-130J can
do the work of two older-model Hercules and each sortie,
for example, gets 40 trucks off Iraq’s dangerous
highways. Meet the crew from Keesler Air Force Base and
hear first-hand about the revolutionary C-130J.
