From
the 24th - 26th of March, the picturesque
town of Harrogate will be hosting the largest Health Conference
and Exhibition in Europe. This annual event is an opportunity
for the world’s leading healthcare suppliers to exhibit their
latest high-tech gadgets and gizmos. It is also a chance to
attend various conferences chaired by key decision-makers for
the National Programme (NP) opportunity. Given the timing of
this event with relation to the on-going NP bid, it is envisaged
that Harrogate will be bustling with key customers, media and
other company representatives.
Lockheed Martin has taken this opportunity to sponsor the annual
Healthcare IT Effectiveness Awards at the event, with two other
leading companies in UK Healthcare. The Awards result from the
collaboration between some of the most prominent organisations
in UK healthcare information management:
"As one of the world's leading advanced technology companies,
Lockheed Martin is keen to support IT innovation and healthcare
effectiveness," said Ron Christenson, Group Managing Director,
Lockheed Martin UK Ltd Integrated Systems.
"We are delighted to be involved in the 2003 Healthcare IT
Effectiveness Awards. Our interest in the health sector spans
nearly 50 years and whilst we have specific product
capabilities, our experience in prime contracting, programme
management and systems integration position us strongly to
support the needs of the NHS in the twenty first century," said
Jeremy Nettle, Business Development Manager for civil programmes.
Lockheed Martin will be well represented with many National
Programme team members attending the event. For more information
